This policy explains what is stored on your device when you visit this website. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Related technologies — local storage, session storage and tracking pixels — do much the same job by different means. Throughout this policy, “cookie” covers all of them.
2. Our stance
We keep this deliberately small. This website sets no advertising cookies and no profiling cookies of its own. Nothing here builds a profile of you, and nothing is sold or passed to data brokers.
The contact form does not transmit data by itself — it opens your own email client with the message pre-filled, so no submission is stored on this site.
3. What this site actually uses
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
mg22-cookie-consent |
Local storage · strictly necessary | Remembers whether you accepted analytics or chose essential only, so the banner does not reappear on every page. | Until you clear your browser data |
| Hosting / security logs | Server-side · strictly necessary | Recorded by our hosting provider to serve pages and defend against abuse. Includes IP address and request details. | Short, set by the provider |
| Analytics cookies | Optional · consent required | Set only if you accept. Aggregate measurement of which pages are read and how people arrive — never used to identify you personally. | Up to 24 months |
Strictly necessary storage does not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, because without it the site cannot honour a choice you have already made.
4. Third-party services
- Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google's font servers. This means your IP address is visible to Google as part of the request. No cookie is set by the font files themselves.
- Analytics provider — loaded only after you accept analytics. Governed by that provider's own cookie and privacy terms in addition to this policy.
Following an outbound link — to a social profile, a client's site, or a platform — takes you somewhere governed by someone else's policy. We have no control over what is set once you leave.
5. Your consent
On your first visit you are shown a banner with two clear options: accept, or essential only. Both are equally easy to choose, neither is pre-selected, and nothing optional loads until you decide. Declining does not restrict any part of this website.
6. Changing your choice
Your preference lives in your own browser, not on our servers. To reset it, clear this site's data through your browser settings — the banner will then appear again on your next visit and you can choose differently. You can also email us and we will walk you through it.
7. Browser controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings → Privacy. Most also offer a private or incognito mode that discards everything when the window closes. Blocking storage site-wide may affect other websites more than it affects this one.
8. Cookies on client projects
Where we build a landing page or install analytics and advertising pixels for a client, those tools are placed on the client's own domain, under the client's own accounts. The client is the controller for that data and their own cookie policy applies. We configure and advise; we do not become the owner of that data.
9. Updates to this policy
If we add or remove a tool, this page is updated and the date at the top changes. Where a new tool requires consent, you will be asked again rather than opted in silently.
